Welkom bij de liveblog over de verbouwing van onze milieustraat!

Er wordt hard gewerkt aan de Lodewijkstraat.

De riolering is zo goed als klaar en de ondergrondse wateropslag wordt op dit moment ingegraven. Zoals te zien op de foto, wordt er gewerkt met de nieuwste technieken.

Hier zien we een op afstand bestuurbare robot die de grond aantrilt. Zo kunnen bouwvakkers werken zonder hun lichaam te belasten met hevige trillingen en zware fysieke inspanning.

In de nabije toekomst worden de sleuven gegraven voor de aanleg van alle elektra. Vanaf dat moment vinden de werkzaamheden voornamelijk boven de grond plaats.

Stapje voor stapje komt de nieuwe milieustraat tot leven!

Work is progressing steadily on Lodewijkstraat.

The sewer system is almost complete, and the underground water storage is currently being installed. As shown in the photo, the latest technologies are being used.

Here, we see a remotely controlled robot compacting the soil. This allows construction workers to do their job without exposing their bodies to intense vibrations and heavy physical strain.

In the near future, trenches will be dug for the installation of all electrical systems. From that point on, most of the work will take place above ground.

Step by step, the new recycling center is coming to life!

Overal wordt volop gegraven om alle putten, buizen en leidingen te installeren. Hierbij worden grote graafmachines ingezet om het werk zo snel en gemakkelijk mogelijk te laten verlopen.

Verder worden alle grote hopen steen, zand en ander materiaal klaargemaakt voor transport of hergebruik.

Excavation work is taking place across the site to install all pits, pipes, and utilities. Large excavators are being used to ensure the work progresses as quickly and efficiently as possible.

In addition, large piles of stone, sand, and other materials are being prepared for transport or reuse.

De graafwerkzaamheden zijn begonnen!

De grond is volledig gesaneerd, geruimd en voorbereid voor het leggen van de riolering. De sloop is zo goed als klaar en overal liggen grote bergen zand, klinkers, puin en bouwmaterialen.

Graafmachines maken grote sleuven waarin alle rioolbuizen en putten komen te liggen. Op de foto zie je de plek waar voorheen ons oude kantoorpand stond. Op dit moment ligt er een grote hoop zand en staan er bouwcontainers voor de medewerkers van de bouwbedrijven.

The excavation work has begun!

The ground has been fully remediated, cleared, and prepared for the installation of the sewer system. The demolition is almost complete, and large piles of sand, paving stones, rubble, and building materials can be seen everywhere.

Excavators are digging large trenches where all the sewer pipes and manholes will be installed. In the photo you can see the spot where our old office building used to stand. At the moment, there is a large pile of sand and several construction containers for the employees of the construction companies.

Zoals te zien is op de foto, is de hal gereduceerd tot grote bergen steen, stof en gruis. Grote wolken wit stof waaien op wanneer de grote graafmachines de brokken steen bij elkaar rapen. Al deze grote bergen zullen worden verwerkt tot nieuwe grondstoffen.

Alle stalen balken en zijpanelen van de hal zullen worden hergebruikt tijdens de bouw van onze nieuwe milieustraat. Zo laten we zien wat er mogelijk is door middel van circulair (ver)bouwen.

In the photo, the hall has been reduced to large piles of stone, dust and debris. Clouds of white dust rise as excavators gather the broken pieces of concrete. These piles of rubble will be processed into new raw materials.

The steel beams and side panels of the hall will be reused in the construction of our new recycling centre. In this way, we demonstrate what is possible through circular construction and redevelopment.
