Waste segregation at the waste recycling point
Separating waste provides many benefits. After all, there are many materials that we can reuse. This saves new raw materials, energy and money. Waste separation is also important at the waste disposal site. Here you should dispose of your waste separately in the designated containers. If you do not know which category your waste belongs to, you can always ask one of the employees for help. You should follow the instructions of the waste recycling point staff.
Packing tips for your departure
- Separate your waste according to the various waste streams. Then you won't have to sort out your waste at the waste management facility.
- Pack your things chronologically, so you can easily get to your stuff and drive the route in one go. So the waste stream farthest from the start of the route goes in the car first.
- Large and bulky items (such as mattresses, refrigerators, furniture, etc.) go on top and small items on the bottom.
Packing tips before your visit
- Separate your waste into the different categories. This way, you don't have to sort once you arrive at the recycling point.
- Pack your waste chronologically, so that you only have to drive the route once. So the category furthest back on the route, goes in the car first.
- Big, coarse objects (like mattresses, fridges, furniture etc.) go on top, smaller objects go at the bottom.
