Environmental site access
Our gate employees are trained and coached in recognizing types of waste and determining quantity. If in doubt or unclear, please ask on the spot for the manager of the environmental street.
Do you choose to enter the environmental street to leave your waste? Then know that no visits or payments can be reversed afterwards.
Free access for residents
On presentation of your Cure environmental pass, both waste collection points are accessible free of charge to Eindhoven residents 12 times a year. If you do not live in Eindhoven, but still want to dispose of waste, you can only do so on behalf of an Eindhoven resident. To do so, you must use the Cure environment pass (Cure Milieupas) for the address in question.
Exception rule
If a resident cannot drop off waste at the waste recycling point, it is possible to have someone else do it. You (or the person who wants to dispose of the waste on your behalf) must use a valid Cure environmental card.
Consider, for example, the disposing of belongings:
- of a deceased person;
- of elderly or disabled people who are not (or no longer) mobile;
- of people who are going to live in a care home.
Collection service
If you don't have transport to go to the waste recycling point, you can choose to let Cure pick up your waste at home for a fee.

Waste segregation at the waste recycling point
Separating waste provides many benefits. After all, there are many materials that we can reuse. This saves new raw materials, energy and money. Waste separation is also important at the waste disposal site. Here you should dispose of your waste separately in the designated containers. If you do not know which category your waste belongs to, you can always ask one of the employees for help. You should follow the instructions of the waste recycling point staff.
Packing tips for your departure
- Separate your waste according to the various waste streams. Then you won't have to sort out your waste at the waste management facility.
- Pack your things chronologically, so you can easily get to your stuff and drive the route in one go. So the waste stream farthest from the start of the route goes in the car first.
- Large and bulky items (such as mattresses, refrigerators, furniture, etc.) go on top and small items on the bottom.
- Asbestos (wrapped and registered at least one day before your visit, check the rules)
- Materials resembling asbestos: corrugated sheets, vermiculite sheets (note: the same rules apply here as for asbestos)
- Car tires passenger cars, max. 4 pieces (no truck or tractor tires)
- Car tires with rims, with a maximum size of 20” rims
- Hard plastics
- Iron/metals
- Small Chemical Waste - in household packaging only (per visit maximum 0.1 m³, including latex, paint, motor oil and frying fat or oil)
- Paper, cardboard
- Gypsum (sheets)
- Roofing materials (bitumen, also called tar)
- Mattresses (max. 3 per visit)
- Styrofoam
- Glass bottles and jars
- Flat glass
- Textiles, footwear
- Appliances:
Refrigerators, televisions, etc. - Garden waste
- Construction and demolition waste
- Bulky waste
