Cure Afvalbeheer is a waste management partnership of the municipalities of Eindhoven, Geldrop-Mierlo and Valkenswaard.
Approximately 150 employees are busy collecting the waste of more than 160.000 households every day.
Cure Afvalbeheer collects the waste in the grey and green mini containers and underground containers and takes care of the separate collection of waste paper & cardboard, plastics, bulky household waste, glass and chemical waste. Cure is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of containers and managing the waste recycling points in these municipalities.

Collaborations
We want to stay informed about developments in the waste industry and like to exchange knowledge with other waste experts. By working together we will achieve better and smarter solutions and create economies of scale by, for example, joint procurement of bags for the plastic collection and shared communication materials. This is part of the reason why Cure is a member the NVRD and Midwaste.

De NVRD verenigt de Nederlandse gemeenten en hun publieke bedrijven die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het afvalbeheer en het beheer van de openbare ruimte. De NVRD ondersteunt hen bij het bereiken van hun doelstellingen en brengt professionals bij elkaar.
Midwaste is het collectief voor afvalmanagement. Een coöperatieve vereniging waarin de leden gezamenlijk koers bepalen, optrekken in projecten en kennis uitwisselen.
De Prestatieladder Socialer Ondernemen (PSO) is een landelijk meetinstrument én keurmerk dat de mate van socialer ondernemen objectief zichtbaar maakt. Cure heeft het PSO Certificaat Trede 3.
WEEELABEX geeft uniforme regels voor inzameling, opslag, transport, verwerking, recycling en hergebruik van e-waste, voorziet in controle op de naleving door onafhankelijke auditors en schrijft rapportage voor van verwerkte volumes en bereikte recyclingresultaten.
