Step 1: Check the settings on your phone

Open the Cure app settings:

Open 'Settings' on your phone

Scroll down and select 'Apps'

Scroll through the list and find the 'Cure app'

Check the option ‘Remove permissions if app isn’t used’. Turn this off to keep receiving notifications.

Tap on ‘Notifications’ and make sure notifications are enabled

Open the Cure app

Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select ‘Settings’

Under the 'Notifications' section, choose ‘YES’

Then, select which waste streams you want to receive notifications for. You can also choose the time you want to receive these alerts—a handy reminder so you don’t miss your collection day!

Sometimes the steps above might not solve the problem. Here are a few other options you can try:

Make sure your phone is updated

Update the Cure app

Delete the Cure app and download it again from the Google Play Store
